2 - 5 Year Old Referrals
Parents of children 2 - 5 years of age that are not enrolled in public school can contact the East Williamson County Cooperative office to request information on the evaluation process.
Taylor ISD uses formal assessment to evaluate children 2 - 5 years of age for suspected disabilities. The core assessment team includes the parent, Speech Therapist, Diagnostician or LSSP, an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Early Education Teacher/Specialist. Additional personnel may be involved in the assessment, including but not limited to a Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired or Autism Specialist.
When an evaluation report is complete an ARD meeting will be held to review results and determine supports, services, and location if needed.
