I will be serving the East Williamson County Cooperative as an Educational Diagnostician and working with students at Main Street Intermediate School and Taylor Middle School. Prior to working as a diagnostician, I taught English & Creative Writing (10th grade), American History (8th grade), Spanish (K-8), and Tech Literacy (5-8). Prior to teaching, I worked as a journalist in the tech sector. I completed my graduate and undergraduate degrees at Florida International University in Miami. I earned my diagnostician certification from Lamar University. I hold the following Texas certifications: Language Arts (7-12), Social Studies (7-12), Spanish (K-12), Sped (EC-12), Bilingual (EC-12), and Educational Diagnostician.
I live in Georgetown with my husband and two high school kids. My two older kids attend Texas A&M. When I am not working or tracking my kids on Life360, I am reading or taking long hikes in the great outdoors :-)
